Team Breast Friends understands that breast cancer treatment can be financially burdensome for patients and their families. That’s why we offer financial assistance to eligible patients in the Corridor who are undergoing breast cancer treatment.
Our financial assistance program provides grants to help with non-medical expenses such as rent, utilities, transportation, and groceries. These grants can help alleviate some of the financial stress that often comes with breast cancer treatment.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for our financial assistance program, patients must meet certain criteria:
- Must be receiving active breast cancer treatments and be diagnosed in the past 5 years.
- Must provide verification of a cancer diagnosis and may be required to provide documentation of your financial need.
- Treating physician must submit verification of diagnosis.
- Reside in the Corridor (Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Washington counties).
